Boxing Day Sales Beauty Haul

When it came to the Boxing Day sales, i wasn’t really looking for any clothes. I, of course, had a look at the clothes but nothing really inspired me and sometimes i find raking through rails of clothing exhausting!
The one thing you can never have too much of, is beauty products so that’s what i focused on when i was hunting for bargains! Between an in-store & an online visit to both Superdrug & Boots i got some really good beauty bargains!

So i hit Boots online sale on Christmas Eve, it normally goes live around 7pm. Due to the site constantly crashing and other plans, i didn’t get my order in until around 1am but it was definitely worth it.

I picked up a Boots extracts marshmallow & peppermint set for £7. I really love Boots Extracts i think it’s such an underrated brand, plus marshmallow and peppermint as a scent really excites me!

I also got this Soap & Glory Simply the Zest set for £5. I really love S&G make-up and facial skincare but sometimes my skin takes a reaction to the bath & body products, so generally i stay away from it. I really liked the look of this and it’s little travel sizes so if i don’t like it then it’s not a big deal!

I bought this missguided get ready with me set whiget-ready-with-me-gift-setch was £8. I actually bought this as part of my friends birthday (it’s not till April but i like to be prepared, really hope she doesn’t read this!) It includes the extra special beauty bits for a night out and i just thought it was a really nice gift. I haven’t heard anything about missguided cosmetics yet but i think they will be good!

I got a Champneys Heavenly Days Relaxing Candle which was £9. I get more excited than a 21 year-old should over candles with more than one wick in them. You can imagine i was beside myself when i saw this had three.

I really love Liz Earle skincare but i don’t buy it too often because it is expensive to use everyday. This was 1/3 off so i paid £10.33 for the 100ml cleanse & polish and the muslin cloth. This is such a winter skincare treat, i love it!

I also picked up the This Works dream team which includes the deep sleep pillow spray and the deep sleep stress less roll on. img_2790I’ve used the pillow spray before before but i also thought the stress less roll on would be quite good for keeping in a bag. I suffer with anxiety so i find a lot of situations really stressful so i’m going to give this a go and see if it’s any good!

I also got a daisy picking Zoella Lifestyle candle in boots which was £5. The Zoella range wasn’t in the sale online (presumably because it’s an all year round thing) so i wasn’t expecting it to be half price in store. It was advertised as half price (although didn’t come up on the till half price) so the woman gave me it for half price. I have all of the candles now, i think my favourite is Seaside Stroll!

Last thing i picked up in Boots was this Ted Baker lipstick collection which was £10. You get a full range of lip sticks in the most gorgeous little box. I’m a fan of Ted Baker cosmetics so i’m thrilled with this!

Moving along to Superdrug! I went online on Christmas day and got all of my bargains- the prices were unbelievable and i wouldn’t have known about it had it not been posted on the Hot Deals UK forum (i’ve talked about this before here).

First thing i got was this massive set of B. brushes which was £70 reduced to £10. I’ve never tried these brushes before as i normally just stick to Real Techniques but for this price i thought i’d give them a go! I personally, don’t love the bag although it’s full of handy compartments and would probably be really good if you travel with make-up regularly. The brushes look really nice, i’m excited to try them out!

I also got this set of Real Techniques Brushes for £10!! I thought that was an amazing price considering if you were buying the brushes individually they are around £10 each! This is the img_2771limited edition set. I’m not mad on the design, but i really love the brushes and this set includes some of my faves!

Lastly i picked up some Zoella Beauty (obviously), i picked up the Spa in a Jar set for £2.99. I’ve bought this set before and really liked it, i love the face cloth that comes in this set! The products are mini’s which i really like because i wouldn’t reach for it other than during the festive season!

I also bought the Gingerbread Bath Fizz Gift set which was also £2.99. The packing of this is so cute and the fissures are shaped like gingerbread men! I was a tad disappointed in the fizz of these, the other fizzers in previous ranges have worked better but the water did smell amazing!

So that is what i bought in the sales, I’m super pleased with everything! I’m going to try and cut down on what beauty bits i buy this year but i there are so many products i really want to try!

Let me know if you bought any great beauty buys in the sale!
