For the past few months, i’d put myself on a bit of a beauty product spending ban to try and save for holidays. It worked pretty well and i got through a lot of my products so i’m going to do it more often. Anyway, post-ban, i found myself in Superdrug and picked up a few things!
MultiTech Small Point Makeup Brush Set
I had my eye on this but i couldn’t justify £30 for make-up brushes i didn’t need but recently they were reduced to £22.49 which i can justify. I love that this set comes with the little brush holder. These brushes are a great size and i’m so happy with them.
MultiTech Large Point Makeup Brush
It was 3 for 2 so i picked this one up too. I think the point will make this great for contouring, so excited to use them but also don’t wanna because they’re so new and pretty.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
This is such a staple, i genuinely don’t know one person who is into make-up and doesn’t have this. I try and buy a new one every few months because i don’t find they last if you use/clean them frequently.
e.l.f. Tone Adjusting Face Primer Neutralizing Green 402
This is the first e.l.f. product i’ve ever tried and was so disappointed! It doesn’t neutralise, it’s not even a great primer. I’ve heard generally good things about e.l.f though so i’ll maybe give it another go.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
This always comes in handy, it’s just so reliable! I normally have either this or or the Match Perfection in my drawer and i just finished the Match Perfection, so decided to go with this again. I think this is the best full coverage high street foundation, ever.
Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser
I love the in-shower moisturisers and after Nivea came out with it, i expected everyone to jump on the bandwagon and it never happened. I mean who wants to moisturise and wait for it to dry, when you can just do it in the shower. I love the Vitamin E skincare, it’s super moisturising and soft and i’m so excited to try this.
Superdrug Vitamin E Spray Moisturiser
Again, a lazy girls dream. Spray and go. Moisturising made easy and the products are relatively inexpensive and Superdrug normally have deals on their own ranges. My skin feels so soft all day after using this and it’s just so easy.
Superdrug Four Way Nail Buffer
A little boring but it comes in so handy. I’ve been letting my nails grow lately and i’ve been so surprised at how hard it is to maintain them. This is just great to sort your nails out at the one time.
Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
I liked this palette when it came out but not enough to buy it. I had two products in the 3 for 2 and needed another product about £12 so i bought this. This is a great nude palette, my problem is i have too many other ones to really appreciate this so i’m going to put this away and come back to it in a few months.
Barry M Speedy Nail Paint – Freestyle
I really like this colour, its like a dusty, baby pink colour and this is the quick drying nail polish which is also a winner with me. I’ve not got a lot of experience with Barry M Nail polish but i’ll give it a go!
Makeup Revolution Iconic Matte Nude Lipstick Lust
So everytime i’m doing in Superdrug/doing an online order, i always buy one of their £1 lipsticks. I’m a fan of cheap and cheerful lipsticks and i love discovering new favourites. I ordered this online and i’m so happy with the colour, the rose gold packing is also a winner for me.
